Fundrise is a Real Estate investing platform without having to invest in Real Estate. They are aligned with my goal of investing and real estate.

Just like how Real Estate investments are not short-term investments, these investments are not for the "get rich, quick" mindset. The goal is to have a long-term account that generates dividends for extra capital to invest in other ventures.

An advantage to Fundrise is the ability to opt-in to reinvest your dividends back into your account so you can invest and forget. Additionally, when it comes to tax season, 1099-DIV will be provided and can be taxed at a regular income tax rate versus the usual 15% rate used on standard dividends.
